What is the Recommended Care and Washing Instructions for Items Made with Cashmere or Cashmere Blend Yarns?
Knitter’s Addiction always recommends hand washing your finished items in tepid water with mild soap. After washing, always lay the item flat to dry. Be sure to reshape or reblock your item to ensure that the piece keeps its intended shape and size. Never hang dry any items as this will increase your chance of stretching the fibres and fabric. We have found that occasionally getting your items professionally cleaned has also worked well at keeping the items “new” looking and it is also a great way to get out stubborn stains. Some of the blended yarns can be washed in the hand wash/gentle cycle of your washing machine. If in doubt about using your washing machine, it is always best to hand wash your item to ensure that it is not damaged.
