What is the recommendation for greasing intervals and grease usage when we use the Thixogrease products?

We recommend to our customers to purge all grease applications whenever possible. The reason we recommend purging is to push out contamination, reduce application temperatures and establish proper greasing intervals. How to establish greasing intervals: 1. Take a temperature reading of application. This should be done when applications has been running in full operation. 2. Grease with Thixogrease until the seal is broken and Thixogrease is coming out of the application. Backing off of your greasing interval: 1. Grease application with Thixogrease, count your pumps each day you grease, it should be no more than one or two pumps. Keep backing off each day until you are pumping three or more pumps of grease into the application, it is now starting to use more grease. Stop here at this point; you have now established proper greasing intervals for this application. 2. Now that you have established your proper greasing interval we recommend that you take a temperature reading of application
