Most eltech CD players and some B/W TVs have a battery rechargeable function. This function allows you to charge NiMh and Ni-Cad batteries. DO NOT try to charge alkaline batteries as they will explode and cause permanent damage to the unit. Insert batteries, plug in AC adapter and turn the switch to charge. Please note to protect your Coby product, if you have the item plugged in with an AC adapter and are not using the charge function, please remove the batteries to prevent overcharging and overheating.
