ISLAMABAD: A high-level meeting of PPP, held in presidency on late Monday, has resolved not to present NRO in parliament, meanwhile, president Asif Ali Zardari held separate sittings with Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Molana Fazl-ur-Rehman and Dr. Farooq Sattar to discuss NRO. According to presidency spokesman, the decision of not sending NRO into parliament for seeking its ratification came during high-level meeting of PPP here at presidency late on Monday. The meeting was jointly presided over by PM Gilani and President Zardari. He said the meeting resolved provision of extension to PM Gilani’s stance of not bringing NRO in parliament, which PM Gilnai did in National Assembly. Both PM and President had separate consultations, over presentation of NRO, with leaders from coalition parties before PPP’s meeting atpresidency.
