What is the reason for existance of the three states of matter?

All matter is composed of atoms which have protons and electrons. They interact in various ways to give the three states of matter. For example, the solids exist due to high forces of attraction caused by ionic bonds or metallic bonds etc. In both these bond the electrons of the atoms are involved. It is important to remember that in solids all the atoms are interrelated because in liquids though two or more atoms are strongly held together, they are not interconnected which results that the force of attraction between individual molecules is less, hence they mostly tend to exist as liquids. But in the case of liquids also there exists at least a small linkage like hydrogen bonding which is absent in gases and hence they are completely free to move about. All in a nut shell, the conclusion is that because the atoms interact differently with each other the three different states of matter exist.

The three states of matter exist due to inter molecular force of attraction n repulsion.each mater behaves according 2 this molecular force for some states of matter its negligible n for some very strong.for solids its tightly bounded.and so on 4 other particles.
