What is the reason behind not organizing beauty pageant competition in Pokhara?
The main reason is that the organizers focus on earning rather then promoting the contestant. They try to organize the contest each month for the sake of earning more profit, which decreased the charm of such competition in Pokhara. The lack of quality of such events was a main reason for the downfall of this type of contest. The other is the political conflict. The member affiliated to Maoist wing apposes such contest. Last year too, they apposed and stopped Miss Teen Pokhara Contest from being organized. After that we haven’t seen such contest. Now, such contest is limited to the childrens only. In your view, do you think beauty pageants should be organized or not? Beauty peagent should be organized. People can see it through negative and positive ways. This is platform where one can show their ability rather than a place to promote nudity. There are many women who have built great carriers after winning beauty pageants.
