What is the Real Voices for Change campaign?
• What exactly are we doing for the “Real Voices for Change” photo-gathering campaign? We’re asking people to add their name to a petition and then take a photo showing that they stand with Barack Obama for change in Washington. We’re asking everyone to gather “I stand with Obama” photos from people they know, or from busy locations in their community. • What’s the deadline for turning in these photos? We ask that you turn in your first round of photos by December 14th. This is just the first deadline. We’ll have another deadline before the end of January when we’ll deliver the photos to Congress. • How are we going to give the photos to Congress? We’ll assemble the names and photos into packets by Congressional District and state. We’ll present them to individual members of Congress in Washington, D.C. in January, close to Inauguration Day.
