What is the “Real Time Save”/”GBA INSTANT SAVE FUNCTION”?

0

The Real Time Save fuction is similar to “save states” on Emulators, which allow you to take a snapshot of your game at the point that it currently is at so that you can come back to the exact same point later. To use this feature, hold A+B+L+R during a GBA game to bring up the ‘M3 Special Effect Menu’ and select Save. Next time you load the game, it loads the “normal” save first (as on the original cartridge). Then hold A+B+L+R and choose ‘Load’ to go back to your “real time/instant save” state.
