What is the real meaning to the poem ecause i could not stop for death?
This poem had quite a few smaller meanings, but the overall message that Dickinson was trying to convey is that death should not be viewed as an end to which you must submit, it should be viewed only as a new path that we all must take; and to not look down shamefully, but throw our heads out to eternity, ready to face the new experience that is death.
