After completion of the deleading process, a re-inspection should be performed. The following procedures apply. • All scraping, sanding etc. must be completed. • Entire unit must be HEPA vacuumed and washed down with trisodium phosphate (tsp). • All carpets cleaned. • All debris removed from premises. • Scraped areas must be left unpainted until re-inspection is complete and complied. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL LEADINSPECTION.COM RE-INSPECT A UNIT AT THE SAME TIME DE-LEADING IS BEING PERFORMED. THE DELEADING PROCESS MUST BE COMPLETE BEFORE THE SCHEDULED RE-INSPECTION. An Inspector will check all areas for compliance. Any area(s) which do not pass re-inspection will be compiled on a list and given to the deleader/owner. A new re-inspection date will be scheduled. Dust wipe tests must be taken and meet MDPH standards before the tenants reoccupy the unit. A minimum of six wipes plus a blank (7) wipes must be taken.
