It’s about a guy who is really depressed because he has just lost his true love, Lenore. So this bird flies in through the window called The Raven, and the only word that this bird can say is “Nevermore”. When the bird says “Nevermore” the guy assumes the bird is talking about his love with Lenore. So basically he thinks this bird is a prophet who is here to tell him about his love.
