What is the rationale?
The rationale is a declaration explaining motivations and making known intentions. In the HSC drama syllabus the term is used to expand the idea of the artistic idea or concept behind each of the Individual Projects. The rationale is 300 words and marked internally as part of your internal assessment mark. The rationales are read by examiners and they should be placed on the last page of the logbook. All submitted projects must include rationales when they are submitted for external examination.
