The Rat Race is an urban adventure challenge event that turns cities into high-adrenaline adventure playgrounds for participants of all abilities. Teams of three and pairs will hike, bike, abseil, climb, kayak and navigate their way around the streets, structures, waterways and urban landscapes of the country’s coolest cities. Anyone can enter. You can choose to test the water with the three-hour Mean Streets event on Saturday evening, lasting 3 hours, covering up to 10km on foot and designed for serious fun and games. Hunt out adventure challenges set around the city centre which range from the physical to the funny to the downright surreal! Those looking to get adventurous on two wheels can test their mettle against Sunday’s bike based Nine2Five challenge, featuring biking, kayaking, abseiling and more.
