What is the rarest fish you have ever caught?
We would go fishing in a pretty good size lake in Wisconsin when I was a kid. One day I caught a fish that had all the markings of a Blue Gill, but it had the mouth of a Large Mouth Bass. It was the wierdest thing we ever saw. We promptly renamed it a Bass Gill. We had fished in that lake for 7 summers when we caught that fish. I worked at a fishing resort there when I was 16 and another strange creature came out of the lake. A kid who came from the family that the White Sox ball park was named for was in his boat and saw what looked like a big blob of snot floating at the top of the water. He scooped it up in a landing net and took it to the house. His dad called the state college and they came up with a team to study the creature from the deep. It turned out to be a Fresh Water Jellyfish and was the largest that had ever been found.
