What is the Ranking System/What Does “Microbe” Mean?
Here, people are ranked according to how many times they’ve posted. New members start off as “microbe” because they have not posted much. But the more stories you read and comment on, the more your rank will increase. Here is a list of all the ranks, and posts needed to earn them: microbe (before you’ve made 10 posts) post-it note (from 10 to 100 posts) bookworm (until 250) paperback maniac (until 500) stray columnist (until 750) apprentice writer (until 1000) intermediate writer (until 2500) expert writer (until 5000) arch-writer (until 7500) language creator (until 10000) God (from 10000 and up) Staff members do not follow this system. Moderators have the name of the forum(s) they moderate. Super Moderators and Administrators will have custom (random) names because it’s a privilege.
