What is the ranking of IUs MLS program?
Indiana University’s School of Library and Information Science is consistenly ranked as one of the top ten best schools in library science nationwide. In the 1996 Gourman Report ranking of graduate and professional programs in library and information science, the School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) at IU ranked third. Published every two years by National Education Standards, a research organization headquartered in Los Angeles, the Gourman Report bases its ratings on a wide array of data, including faculty profile, standards and quality of instruction, experience and achievement, richness of the curriculum, admissions requirements, enrollment, career placement and success of graduates.
