Average rainfall in each grid utilizing the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) “Unified Rain Gauge.” This dataset is continuous rainfall data since 1948 for each grid. The grid rainfall value is gathered by NOAA from several sources including weather stations enhanced with NEXRAD and satellite cold cloud data.
