RAIN Founder/Producer Hap Holly, KC9RP, introduced the RAIN Dialup Service in April, 1988, to provide national access to RAIN programming via telephone. The RAIN Report was a major feature of that dial-in service. Renamed the RAIN Report in 1997 to coincide with the launch of rainreport.com, this weekly, audio, ham radio, feature magazine is still available at area code (847) 827-RAIN as well as here. It updates Fridays, typically running some 15 minutes in length in streamming Real audio. The RAIN Report is formatted for airing over Amateur Radio in conformance with FCC regulations.
