What is the QVQ – quantify, verify, qualify – data collection method and why is it so important?
Sightlines’ QVQ Process is our proven – quantify, verify, qualify – data collection method that enables us to code information into a single database. The Process includes campus visits and the collection of current year data as well as four years of historic data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. This same method is also used in our Return on Physical Assets (ROPASM) Process. Since the metrics and collection method are consistent, we can reliably benchmark campus emissions against peer institutions. Benchmarking — something other firms simply don’t offer – provides valuable insights, context, and perspective, helping to identify opportunities to reduce emissions and learn from the best-practices of other schools.
