What is the Quick Grade option?
In an effort to offer more flexibility and simplicity for posting grades, we have added the Quick Grade option (Found just below “Show Grades” on the Settings page of your course). When Quick Grading is enabled, the standard grading system is replaced with a simple gradebook that can be downloaded, edited, then uploaded back to the site. The entire gradebook is transfered in a single file, editable in Excel or any other Spreadsheet program. When uploaded, it is saved so that students see only their own grades. Quick Grade does not do any calculations with the submitted grades, sidestepping the problem of custom scales, decimal grades, and similar problems. Instead, it will display the grades exactly as they are in the gradebook file. More information on Quick Grades can be found by clicking the associated help button on the Settings page.
