What is the Quarterly Economic Survey?
This is the largest and most representative independent business survey of its kind in the UK, and is the most extensive and regular measure of business trends at local, regional and national levels. It covers issues such as the current state of local business orders and sales, investment, employment, recruitment difficulties and business confidence. The results are a reliable economic indicator and are used by the Government and Bank of England when developing policy and forecasts.
