What is the Quantitative and Analytical Skills Requirement?

0

SFU degree programs require specific high school math courses for admission. Applicants must demonstrate competence in quantitative and analytical skills. Students with a grade of 70% or higher in Principles of Math 11 or Principles of Math 12 or Applications of Math 12 will be eligible to register in an appropriate Q course at SFU. This will show on your SFU transcript as FAN X99 credit. A student’s selected program may have additional math course and grade level requirements for admission into the program. Students with grades between 60%-69% in the high school math course used for admission must either write the Quantitative Placement Exam and score a minimum 20/30 or register directly in Foundations of Analytical and Quantitative Reasoning (FAN X99) and achieve a C before being eligible to register in Q courses.
