There are so many cheap usb turntables in the market that produce poor quality music transfers. We use a belt-driven, studio quality Project Debut III for our vinyl transfers. We also use the pre-amplifier from the Project Debut III for our audio cassette transfers. So, from the start, you are getting great quality! We take vinyl one step further (this is not necessary with audio cassette tapes) with an electronic cleaning process to remove hiss, pops and clicks. When played side-by-side, you will most likely prefer the sound of the transferred CD over the original record. It literally does bring new life and clarity to your well loved records. However, electronically cleaning your music too much can degrade the quality of the music, so we strive to find a good balance between removing as much of the pops, hisses and clicks that we can while preserving the record’s original sound.
