What is the quality of the document the requester receives?
By default the Relais Scanning Workstation scans at 300 dpi (dots per inch). This is the quality that libraries are familiar with from Ariel. In contrast the average fax machine scans and prints at 200 X 100 dpi. The automatic separation of photo and text also provides optimum quality and legibility no matter what the content of the page.
