A. The purpose is to reach God and understand some degree of It, or that state of spiritual awareness which many saints and holy men were reported to have reached. The results serve mankind and help build a more positive civilization. However, it mainly proves survival of the Self, that part of Man called Soul, a spark of the Divine. The goal for the student is to reach that heavenly state which we know as the Absolute or God-Center.
