What is the purpose of the Youth Power Summit?
To implement strategies directed at empowering youth to accomplish the Miami Dade Branch NAACP’s goals coinciding with the National Back to School Stay in School Campaign, the National Call for Action in Education and to bridge the generational gap between NAACP and hip hop culture thus creating a united front in which to face issues currently effecting healthy youth development throughout urban communities.
