“WIN_OtherUsers” is a Windows shortcut to facilitate file sharing with other members of the university by quickly accessing and browsing through their folders alphabetically. For Mac users, this shortcut file is visible, but is non-functional. Instead, the “Finder” browser on Macs provides a similar capability via the menu option “View > as Columns.
