What is the purpose of the W-9 tax form?
As a potential new U.S. Qualcomm vendor, you are required to provide Qualcomm with a completed W-9 form. Qualcomm is required by law to file a report with the IRS detailing annual cash disbursements made to vendors by Qualcomm for the calendar year. The W-9 form provides Qualcomm with the appropriate vendor tax information. Please fax the form to (858) 651-1988 – Attention: BREW Sales Administration.
