The Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Article 56.05(b) mandates that, at specified intervals agencies report information and statistical data on the numbers and types persons to whom the agency provides Victim Impact Statements. The data provided on these reports will assist in determining whether the selected agency or office is making a good faith effort to protect the rights of crime victims.
