What is the purpose of the “Remember Me” check box?

For security purposes, logged in sessions time out if you have not been active on the site for more than 15 minutes. When you check the “Remember Me” box, you will be able to access the password-protected sections of the Alumni Associations site for the remainder of the day until midnight EST. You will not be prompted to log into the system again during this time. When the Remember Me box is left unchecked, the system will require you to log back in if you have not been active on the site for more than 15 minutes. I have tried to log in but I am repeatedly bounced back to the main TigerNet page! If you are currently registered for TigerNet, please check the preferences of your browser and make sure it is set to accept cookies. If you are a student, faculty or staff member, be sure you are accessing the site from the Student/Staff/Faculty box and not the Registered Alumni box. If you continue to have difficulties, please contact the Help Desk.
