What is the purpose of the plastic bushings in the side frame?
The upper plastic bushing in the frame of a pivot hung window is used for securing the window sash with the sash barrel bolt in an open position and thereby increasing the ventilation. The lower plastic bushing is used for securing the window sash, when the sash is fully rotated and in the cleaning position.
