What is the purpose of the Pace Poll?
• The goal of the Pace Poll is to help public opinion play a more visible role in an open discussion of current affairs. The Pace Poll will contribute to the public discourse by publishing accurate and meaningful opinion studies on matters of common concern, an important part of the democratic process. • As a vital, contributing resident of Manhattan, Pace University believes that in order to restore the health and vitality of its neighborhood, it is essential to understand fully the impact of the downtown rebuilding effort on those who live in the area. • The Pace Poll is one of a number of the University’s central initiatives to serve the community and its larger environs as an academic, research, and civic partner. • In addition to the Pace Poll, the University has created an inventory of expertise among faculty and staff to assist government, corporations, small businesses, community groups and others in the economic and social revitalization of downtown New York.
