What is the purpose of the overdrive function ?
This is an option built into the PCB board it is optional whether you use this option. The Overdrive/ Distortion function replaces an extra external distortion pedal or the use of a Tube amp. It works great when you have your normal setup and want this extra sustain by switching on this option. If you have a Mixer with digital delay you can plug into the Line-In and set the tones you like, add a bit of overdrive and you will have a recording quality sound. Some mixers have a USB Out so you can record direct in to a PC. On all kit sets you have a Push/pull pot or Toggle switch to activate the overdrive and set the amount of Gain.
