What is the purpose of the optional thermostat?
If you don’t want your solar attic fan running 24/7, we suggest you add this optional feature. The thermostats are preinstalled for you so you don’t need to worry about installing them yourself. Each thermostat is preset to 85 degrees. So when the temprature is below that mark, you attic fan will be turned off. Your unit will turn on only when the temprature is 85 degrees or more.
