What is the purpose of The Nature Corps outings?
The purpose of The Nature Corps outings is to give Americans the opportunity to serve as stewards of their National Parks. Nature Corps volunteers provide the National Park Service with assistance on important conservation projects that could not be completed otherwise. Three elements make up the core of our volunteer vacations: volunteer service, continuing education and recreation. Our objective is to provide participants with a rewarding and meaningful volunteer experience. You will have the opportunity to leave your own personal legacy as you preserve some of our nation’s most cherished natural treasures.
