What is the purpose of the MSU dial-up network access?
A. The MSU Dial-up facilities are provided to assist Murray State employees in the performance of their official functions. It is not intended to serve as a free means to access the Internet. The time logged into network resources should be limited to that absolutely necessary to perform the required function. This is necessary because communications resources, both router ports and in-bound telephone lines, are limited. Connection times greater than 2 hours are discouraged and may be terminated.
