What is the purpose of the Likely Range feature in Advanced Option Graph?
Option strategies will be successful if the underlying stock moves (or does not move) by a certain amount by the expiration date. The likely range feature gives you a graphical representation of this on the option graph. For instance, if you check a stock’s behavior over the last six months, you may find that it rarely moves 10% from one month to the next. You can set the Likely Range to 10%, and look for strategies that will benefit if the stock maintains that behavior. For more about the Likely Range, see the help page on the Toolbar.
