What is the purpose of the IGSoC signatory field?

0

The IGSoC signatory field provides an opportunity for a Practice to enter details of the practice partner responsible for Information Governance compliance to simplify the submission of the IGSoC. Once a Practice has attained level 2 on the IG toolkit, or has submitted an agreed action plan two e-mails will be sent from the Tracking Database to: • IGSoC signatory (a partner in the practice). This e-mail contains a unique 7-digit verification code and a link to a dedicated web page. • IGSoC contact (usually the Practice manager). This e-mail contains only the link to the dedicated web page. To use this feature, you should login, select “My Organisation” from the menu, and enter the partner’s email address into the text box. Once you have completed your Information Governance Toolkit, an email will be sent to this address with a special link and unique code, used to confirm compliance with, and acceptance of, the terms of the IGSoC declaration.
