What is the purpose of the Home Advisory Committee?
The purpose of the Home Advisory Committee is: • To advise home management, on issues related to resident care and the needs of seniors in the community • To promote and encourage activities to enhance the quality of life for residents, including physical care, comfort, spirituality and psychological well-being • To act as systemic advocates, making suggestions related to the rights and common good of residents of the home • To promote effective community linkages • To receive regular reports on quality improvement initiatives, and to provide feedback to the Administrator on these reports, from the community perspective.
