The purpose of the dividend reinvestment plan, or “DRP,” is to offer Piedmont’s stockholders the opportunity to automatically reinvest their cash dividends in additional shares of our Class A common stock. We will use the proceeds we receive for general corporate purposes if the DRP shares are not purchased on the open market.
