What is the purpose of the Austin CEO Foundation?
The Austin CEO Foundation believes all parents should have the option of choosing their child’s school and that all children deserve a great education. The online Education Options Resource Center provides central place to find information about public, private, charter, and home schools. We never recommend a school or school type. Instead we do provide one central place to find easily navigatable links to research schools. If the Austin CEO Foundation supports other options, you must be anti public schools, right? No. We don’t believe one option is better than another. There are many, many wonderful public schools and teachers. We support a parent’s right to choose their child’s school based on the individual needs of the student. Parents want schools to educate their children in a safe learning environment. Connie Sadowski our Parent Advocate choses to put her four kids in Austin ISD public elementary, middle and high schools. She works to help teachers and students be successful. As
