What is the purpose of the Aquatic Center Campaign?
The Aquatic Center at Baker Park Campaign is a community endeavor to raise $1 million toward the project to create a new pool and renovate the Bath House at Baker Park. This community project will join hands with the City of New Castle to build the Aquatic Center. The City has already sold $1.9 million in bonds, which will cover the cost of putting the new pool into the ground. The community campaign will raise the additional $1 million needed to renovate the historic Bath House, and to add the pool decking and fencing and the interactive water features, including water slides.
