What is the purpose of the 3/8 cent sales tax election?
As the city continues to grow and mature, our ability to meet citizens expectations becomes more challenging. A sales tax will better enable us to carry out our responsibility of taking care of major public assets. The new revenue generated from the sales tax will be used for maintaining roads and park facilities, developing parkland, and building a new civic center.
