What is the purpose of Summer Session II: Advanced Professional Studies?
The purpose of this second summer session is to pull together, summarize, and integrate all the learning acquired through field experiences and the instructional strands. Study and analysis of contemporary themes and issues help prepare graduates to participate in school improvement and to become agents for positive change. In addition, you are given the opportunity to select courses in an interest area, such as English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). You may also begin the process of adding the contiguous authorization level during this time.
