What is the purpose of propagation?
When an individual visitor types in your domain name into their Web Browser, their request is referred to a nameserver (NS) that indicates your physical location (the IP address) of your domain. When you change the location to our name server (NS) IP address, or when a new domain name is added, name servers around the world are then notified of the change. This is called “propagation”. Some of the domain services may refer to it as an old location or older server or new location or new servers instead of name servers. One strong recommendation – – – Cancel your old provider ONLY after the internet has propagated and all requests to view your site are going to our servers.
