What is the purpose of judicial education?
The National Association of State Judicial Educators (NASJE) identifies the goal of judicial education as the maintance and improvement “of the professional competency of all persons performing judicial functions, thereby enhancing the performance of the judicial system as a whole.” See National Association of State Judicial Educators, “Principles and Standards of Continuing Judicial Education,” 1991.
