What is the purpose of gutter strainers?
Downspout Strainers save you money by keeping gutters flowing longer and preventing expensive clogs in underground drains. Downspout strainers, perform the important function of keeping most leaves and debris from being washed into the gutter downspouts where they create blockages either over the outlet opening to the downspout or in the elbows (bends) of the downspout.
