What is the purpose of Good News for Catholics?
We at GNFC are motivated by a sincere love for Catholics. Our work is governed by the principle of “speaking the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15). We believe that although Catholics have a zeal for God, it is not in accordance with biblical truth. We consider Roman Catholicism to be an unbiblical form of Christianity that has deceived the Catholic people. The foundational doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church distort the work of Christ, the meaning of worship, the role of Mary, divine authority, and even the personality of God. It never was the true Church of Jesus Christ, and therefore cannot be reformed or revived. (1 Timothy 4:1-3; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18). We are willing to “contend earnestly for the faith” (Jude 3), that Catholics might be set free by the truth.
