What is the purpose of Elohim?
Elohim made both the angelic and the physical realms subject to the corruption of Lucifer that they may understand the principles of good and evil and exercise principles of faith, patience, etc., which would bring about the resurrection. The Apostle Paul wrote it as follows. “For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of Elohim (God, Rm. 8:20-21).” It is clear that both men and angels have some autonomy to make choices between good and evil.
