This stone was designed to account for the shrinkage of DurAcetal®. This stone should be used to duplicate the model for any appliance made from DurAcetal other than clasps. This includes frameworks, unilaterals etc. Universal Expansion stone is unnecessary when creating clasps with the Hot Shot Elite if the proper technique is followed.
